The 18th - 24th May 2015 sees the sixth annual Dying Matters Awareness Week – this year “We” have decided to get involved and run a whole week of events focussed on end of life care. The theme for this years Dying Matters Awareness week is “Talk, Plan, Live” so we have come up with three discussions around these subjects:
Wednesday 20th May 8pm - #WeDNs discussion around Just In Case Medicines
Thursday 21st May 8pm - #WeNurses discussion Living and Dying guest hosted by Philip Ball @PhilipRABall
In this chat we’ll look at the Live element of Dying Matters week; what does it mean to live and be dying? How can we as nurses and individuals help those who are about to die; be living in the way they wish? It starts with the conversations, talking see Monday 18th chat, and planning, as we see in Weds 20th chat. Then it’s time for living in one way or another. Bring your ideas, questions and insights and examples to inspire us all.
