WeAHPs are delighted to be supporting the #AHPsintoAction launch event in London on the 17th January by live streaming via Periscope and tweeting, and you are all invited to join the launch online.
Over the past 9 months Allied Health Professions (AHPs) in England and internationally, as well as other professionals, service users and carers, have been on a journey - a Mandate for Change - to co-produce a national AHP strategy.

Livestreaming the launch
It is a free and easy to watch the livestreamed sessions. The quality of the broadcast is sometimes not perfect but means you can watch the event live or afterwards from your computer, tablet or phone.
There are 2 ways you can watch:
Look for tweets from @WeAHPs using #AHPsintoAction that include a video. Click on the play symbol on the centre of the video to watch.
Download the Periscope app here (it’s free) or from your App store. Search for and follow WeAHPs.
Open the Periscope App just before the event starts at 2.45pm, or afterwards. Click on the TV icon at the bottom left of the screen - live broadcasts will appear at the top and recent broadcasts underneath.
You can also follow the launch by the slightly more traditional method of tweeting by searching #AHPsintoAction.
There will also be a further opportunity to discuss #AHPsintoAction by taking part in our twitter chat on Thursday 23rd February 8pm GMT. The pre chat information can be found here.
Also, everyone who registered interest in this project, via the AHPs online workshops, will receive an invite to share early feedback. This feedback will also be incorporated into the launch and used to help AHPs begin the next phase of the journey together.
We do hope you can join us online for the launch and the tweet chat, and also add your questions or comments via Periscope, on Twitter or via the AHP online platform.
