Could you be one of the 12 universities we are looking for?
WeCommunities and Public Health England are really pleased to announce a virtual event around preventing illness, protecting health and promoting wellbeing … for students ! Anyone from any university can take part in the WeLearn #AllOurHealth Virtual Student Event … but what about getting your university on the prevention map!
We are looking for universities to sign up to being WeLearn #AllOurHealth Trailblazers (to find out more about WeLearn #AllOurHealth CLICK HERE ) and take part in our week long WeLearn #AllOurHealth Virtual Student event.
The event will take place from January 20th – January 25th and will share All Our Health with as many healthcare students as possible and get them all learning and discussing about what prevention, protection & promotion means to them. The overarching aim is to get as many health and care students learning and talking about All Our Health as possible … and all at no cost to students or universities.
Students will get access to the WeLearn #AllOurHealth which uses social media to explore and facilitate debate on Twitter … don’t worry if some of your student don’t yet tweet they can easily learn through the #WeLearnToTweet resource HERE. Students will also have the option to continue their learning through the subsequent programme of activity:
You will also be able to nominate 2 students from your university to be #AllOurHealth Champions, and be part of this national initiative from the start in order to make a real impact on preventing illness, protecting health and promoting wellbeing. (More info on #AllOurHealth Champions HERE )
Each Trailblazer University will be named on the WeLearn platform and student will be able to sign up as part of that universities team. Last year there were some outstanding universities who really led the way.
In addition to this each trailblazer university has the opportunity to become a bronze, silver or gold Trailblazer University (dependant on activity) through the WeDidIt #AllOurHealth Board .. which encourages activity and sharing. Each University can opt to do as little or as much as they like … but we would definitely encourage you to go for gold!

We will also give you access to poster downloads, video and social media resources as downloads (HERE) to help you to achieve the coveted Gold Trailblazer University status. And if you do achieve gold then we will send you a Gold Trailblazer University certificate of achievement.
