@WeLearnOutLoud #AllOurHealth I do not currently share any information with patients and their families about air pollution. It is not something that comes up, however we do encourage being active so we could bring in air pollution discussion to support this.

@Lynette85498573 that's great to hear Lynette. Having explored the air pollution topic via #AllOurHealth what conditions do you think are relevant to your patients now?
@Lynette85498573
01 April 2021 18:17
@WeLearnOutLoud #AllOurHealth not having the knowledge or resources to bring up the topic. Finding time to build it into the discussions we are having with patients when we have lots to cover in limited time. Making them understand what they can do to make a difference, even small changes.
@WeLearnOutLoud

@Lynette85498573 And do you think you have a good set of resources and a better understanding now via #AllOurHealth

@WeLearnOutLoud Due to finishing placement last week I haven't had the opportunity to speak to colleagues about sharing information but similar to @Lynette85498573 we can speak about air pollution when discussing physical activity in initial occupational assessments #AllOurHealth
@Lynette85498573
01 April 2021 18:23
@WeLearnOutLoud #AllOurHealth yes I feel I have a better understanding of where to start looking for resources and a good start will be to make people aware of Clean Air Day this year.
@WeLearnOutLoud
01 April 2021 18:25
And finally ... When and where should information re air pollution be shared with patients and their families?? #AllOurHealth UWE https://t.co/Mb2m3oFVr5
@Lynette85498573
01 April 2021 18:27
@WeLearnOutLoud #AllOurHealth making it clear and simple, give ideas of achievable changes they can make, don’t force the topic and don’t make them feel guilty if they feel changes can’t be made. Encourage as much as possible and have resources easily to hand.
