#WeNurses - Wednesday 29th March 2017 8pm (GMT Standard Time) Developing Autonomy

If you haven't joined in a tweet chat before it's very simple.    Here's a guide

 Chat Details

Hosted by WeNurses using #WeNurses

This chat is guest hosted by @RN_Abigail @LukiKnowsBest

#WeStudents strikes again!

In this monthly Student Night, we decided to talk about a nurse's autonomy. It was inspired by a #WeStudent's 2 minute video and wanted to explore it more.

You can find Zoe's video here for her thoughts on it, thanks very much @MissZoeB95 for sharing your video!

Each nurse can be an autonomous practitioner, making their own decisions, planning a person's care and empowering their patients in being a partner in their care.

But how does a student learn this skill? Where does this autonomy come from and how can it be promoted as a skill all nurses should have?
